In an emergency situation the weights can beeasily ditched with the bright yellow rip cord attached to the right shoulder.When pulled, your weights are ditched from the bottom of the diving vest.The SEASOFT FREE Diving Vest can hold up to 40 lbs of soft weights! We do not recommend nor warrant the SEASOFT FREE diving vest for use with hard weights. Weights are put in the back zippered compartment which features an adjustable panel that secures your weights so that they cannot shift.
